Satellite and Orbit Updates 6/12//07+Satellite Anniversary news
As you can see from the title I haven't forgotten about Satellite's 2nd anniversary. There will be a 2008 Slayboy Calendar, a year of evil with 12 bad babes. There's also going to be a Slayboy nniversary issue but I'm going to keep that as a surprise. They will be appearing around Xmas and new year.
Now back to this week, and it's a double up on Charmed this week (not planning this its just the way the updatings worked out) with Piper as our December Slaymate and we have an update to Paige's May 2006 appearance. Over at Orbit it's a Solo story, Black On Red. A group of Nazi's raiding a French chateau meet a different sort of monster.
All of the updates should be done TODAY and there are samples below:

Black On Red
Inga wasn’t sure what woke her. The door of her room was still closed and locked but she still felt a presence in the room. The room she had secured was one of the larger ones in the chateau, which, in addition to a locking door, had a large four-poster bed as its centrepiece. Having been unprepared for an overnight stay she had gone to bed in her underwear. Now she reached for the blouse draped over the chair beside the chair, only for the dark shape of a hand that hadn’t been there an instant earlier to clamp around her wrist and pull her effortlessly from the bed.
“Help me!” She screamed as she was flung onto the floor before the dark figure that was now attached to the hand pulled her upright.
The face of the figure was a three dimensional shadow, the eyes just empty spaces in the gaunt, translucent, almost skull like visage, “I have already disposed of your companions, cold empty things, useless, not even fit for the grave.”
The voice echoed and rumbled as if it were coming from far and resonating in some great cavern, the tone almost as chilling as the words, dissolving her will to resist, “What are you going to do with me?” She whimpered.
“Consume you,” The shadowy man announced without hesitation, and opened the ragged hole that passed for a mouth, showing dark, glassy fangs, “Your blood will feed my flesh, your soul will warm me for centuries.” |

Satellite and Orbit Updates 28/11//07
This week Satellite gets a double dose of Seven of Nine with a new Voyager story called 'Indebted' and an update to her Slayboy issue. Over at Orbit its part four of 'Hotel Hell' and the guests are still being menaced by the rift...
All should be up tomorrow, samples below.
Enjoy!

Hotel Hell Part 4
...In the woman’s sauna Sarah unwrapped her towel and spread it out on a bench before lying down and stretching out, luxuriating in the fact that she had the place all to herself. She undid her ponytail and flexed her shapely legs as she let the steam work the tension out of her tired muscles. She was just about reaching a point of true relaxation when the banging started.
She practically leapt off the bench as something slammed against wall the two sauna’s shared, “What the…?”
Her comment was cut off by another slam, and another. It sounded as if someone was being thrown against the walls. The notion of a fight breaking out in the sauna seemed bizarre but she couldn’t think what else it might be. She grabbed up her towel and wrapped it around herself as she worked the lever that held the sauna door closed and prevented the steam escaping.
Sarah’s plan was to rush off and find a member of staff but as she stepped out it struck her that there might be another explanation for the noise, the person in the men’s sauna might be ill, having a fit of some sort and if she just ran off without checking… With a sigh she approached the door and positioned herself behind it, so that the embarrassment if it all turned out to be misunderstanding would be minimized. She opened the door just a crack and spoke up so she could be heard from the thick wood and metal, “Hello? Look if you need a doctor just yell or groan or something.”
There was no immediate reply and Sarah was just about to reluctantly stick her head round the door when it was knocked open and flung her across the floor. As she slid to a halt Sarah somehow managed to hold on to her towel. She wasn’t worried about her modesty though, she was furious at the jerk that had knocked her down. Her hot anger turned cold as she saw the figure that stepped out of the sauna.
It looked like some one had decided on a radical redesign of a crocodile, adding more, and longer, limbs that allowed it to pull itself upright into bipedal pose even as half a dozen other limbs flexed and stretched, long hands clenching and snapping as a reptilian head turned to stare at Sarah. The beast hadn’t been intelligent enough to figure out the door mechanism but it knew what it saw when it was looking at Sarah, and what it wanted to do...

Orbit and Satellite Updates 22/11/07
Okay piece of advice first, if you ahve Vista and you're thinkng of getting Comic Book Creator, don't, really just don't it's far more trouble than its worth. Okay this week at Satellite we have the first part of a new comic, Last Halloween'. At orbit there's a new Solo story, 'Stormchaser' in which Donna has a unique encounter with a hurricane...
Samples below and both are up NOW.
Enjoy!

Stormchaser
...The horror of that was almost instantly blanketed out by the more primal fear as her own situation struck her. She was at ten thousand feet being tossed about in a hurricane like a piece of paper, and she was three hundred miles out into the Atlantic; she couldn’t count the number of ways death might come for her but Donna was certain it was coming. An eerie calm settled on her then, as if she had slid into the mental equivalent of the eye of the hurricane. Donna undid the straps that held her to her chair and it went tumbling away into the storm. She spread herself out in a skydiving position and just let herself be carried on the winds.
The other presence in the hurricane had sensed the arrival and destruction of the Wild Goose with a supreme detachment; the machine was too puny a thing to interest it. The aftermath of its destruction though was something else, the other presence it detected was a tiny flame compared to the power of its own essence but it burned brightly and drew the presence irresistibly. As it flowed through the storm the presence moved a part of its essence from the ethereal to the physical and reached out to the flame.
As she fell Donna wondered if anyone else had ever shared this experience. It was an unanswerable question, almost by definition no one was coming back to tell the tale.
Do you wish to do so?
The voice sounded crystal clear inside her head and Donna thought she must have simply gone insane but when it spoke again there was something commanding that forced her to reply.
Do you wish to do live to tell your tale?...

Orbit and Satellite Updates 9/11/07
This week at Satellite we have a double dose of Slayboy with both the new November edition and the revamped version of the February 2006 edition. Over at Orbit we have a new Solo story called 'Silver Flux' in which the ulitmate engineering creates chaos. Just to change things up there's a sample of Silver flux below, along with the Slayboy covers.
All of this is up, NOW!
Enjoy.

SILVER FLUX
...As she moved towards the bows of the ship Eileen had to convince herself she wasn’t still asleep because something seemed to have buckled and twisted the metal until the square walled corridor was practically cylindrical. She had no idea how the structural integrity was still holding or how the power was still flowing but that was shoved aside by another scream and Eileen’s sense of duty kicked in; she moved carefully towards the source of the sound.
That proved harder than expected because whatever had twisted the metal of the bulkheads also seemed to have created a maze of new corridors. That though was nothing compared to what she found when she finally found the right corner. That the structure of the ship had been altered was unsettling enough but she hadn’t considered the possibility that it might have extended to the crew as well. She was guessing that the figure in the middle of the corridor was a crewman because it was still roughly human in shape but it seemed to have been melted like the bulkheads, not to mention that parts that looked like they would have been more at home on a crab or spider had been added. Some of it was clearly flesh, other parts looked like they had been formed from the polymers and synthetics that made up much of the ships fittings.
Eileen stared at the lumbering beast, whose attention was focused in the opposite direction. It shuffled forward and reached out, prompting another scream, this one ear splittingly loud and Eileen could see the source, and see that she definitely wasn’t the only one unchanged by whatever force had warped the ship and its crew.
Connie hertz was a rating on her first deep space assignment. She was a tall blonde with an athletic, muscular build, which was emphasized now as she was spread eagled stark naked against one wall, her hands and feet fixed in place by a glossy sticky looking material. She was writhing frantically, coating her body with a thin film of sweat from all her exertions.
The warped creatures claw-hand closed around one of her breasts, squeezing it until it looked as if it was going to pop. At the same time a long rubbery tube slid down from between the creature’s hips and curved upwards, reaching between Connie’s hips and swaying back and forth as it sought out her sex...

Okay a little late with the post this week because of the changes to the update system. Turns out anythng where I need to create a folder needs to be notified in advance. Orbit and Satellite Updates 4/10/07-Update changes
The admins for all the Erotic illusions sites are changing the update procedures, in essence the idea is that artists will upload their material onto the site directly rather than via FTp. I'm trying it out this week so things may take a little longer than usual to appear if there are any teething troubles. Hopefully in future it will make uploading quicker and smoother. Anyway on to the updates themselves. At Satellite there's a new Star Trek: Pioneer story 'Unleashed' where we put one long running story thread to rest, and open up a new one. ALso this week there's the Gen3 upgrade of Doppelgangland X5, one more and the whole of that series will be up to Gen3, samples below.
Over at Orbit its the end of the road for 'The Dead, The Undead, And The Living' and in thre final part we return to where it all started and there's one last sacrifice to be made to end the war...
Hopefully all up more or less as normal late Friday,
Enjoy!

Curse of Vista-Plan B
Okay it appears the death of my old PC is still haunting me, my comic book software appears to work perfectly in Windows Vista on my new machine with the small exception that when you publish the files the output is garbage. I didn't find this out until the webmaster reported back that he coudln't open them when he tried to upload them. Since there isn't a Vista patch available yet 'Spiral' is trapped. So instead, and with apologies to those who may subscribe to Orbit as well, I'm posting 'Kiss Of The Spider Demon on Satellite.' Hopefully this will be the last time my computer crash causes an issue and if the patch doesn't appear soon I'll just go back to the old way of doing comics. |
